About Us

Faces of Hope is a place where survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, and stalking find hope and healing. Our mission is to provide a compassionate safety net of crisis services, including legal support, counseling, safety planning, and basic needs assistance, all in a warm and welcoming environment. Every survivor’s journey is unique, and we are committed to meeting each person where they are with resources that empower them to rebuild their lives. Faces of Hope has supported over 7,000 survivors since 2016.

About the Event

April 11, 2025 | 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Keynote Speaker: Detective Katrina Brownlee

Join us for our fourth annual Faces of Courage, an evening dedicated to celebrating resilience and reflecting the strength of survivors. This year, we are honored to welcome Detective Katrina Brownlee, who overcame unimaginable domestic violence to become one of the highest-ranking first-grade detectives in the NYPD. Her story of courage and advocacy is a powerful reminder of the strength within us all. Read more here

For the survivors who walk through our doors, courage is often their first step toward a new beginning. Faces of Hope exists to remind them that in every mirror is a face that deserves safety, dignity, and a future filled with possibility.

Proceeds from the event directly support survivors in our community by funding life-changing resources provided by Faces of Hope. Join us for an inspiring evening that reflects the courage of survivors and the commitment of our community to creating a safer, more supportive future.
